I opened up the factory airbox and took out the restrictor "plates" and installed it in place if my spectre air filter and i think my mileage went down.....I even made rear wheel skirts and blocked half of the lower grille(all i can block without overheating). I also noticed that my MAF sensor was dusty, could you guys with paper filters just check and see if your MAFs are dusty? I saw that filter conparison and the paper filter missed almost as much dust as the K&N. Should i clean my maf sensor and HOW? carb cleaner????or do they make MAF cleaner?

The short answer, yes, they make it. Do I recommend it, only if you must. The MAF sensor is very delicate in most vehicles and susceptible and can be damaged easily.
