40 years

That's right, I've been doing 80-90 of the driving techniques listed here, learned most on my own. Some of these listed here are too inconsiderate of other drivers (for me).
Been using Vacuum gauges, "Hold Your Foot Steady", air dams, adding advanced timing, opening intakes to cooler air (not hotter), using K&N's, opening exhaust systems (not restricting them), checking plug color and tuning towards lean side (more power with lean combustion too), combining trips, driving no more than 5 over the speed limit, knowing where the cheapest stations are & not going out of my way, "Yelling" at my wife when she's wasteful, recording my MPG's on all 7 vehicles, and many more.
Lastest project, "88 Dodge 3/4 ton Conversion Van (Class B RV) 318ci.
Brought it home got 14.1 mpg after 700 miles. Last trip, 910 miles got 16.5. A 14.5% increase! Goal 17-18, on a 5800# rolling box. Reducing weight (200#'s so far), eliminating any drag points, and adding aero's next. About 2/3 done with MPG mods.
But thanks for a few new good ideas here.

Yes, 4 bikes, sold 1, all get 40mpg or greater, 05 RV Class A, gets 9 mpg, (most only get 6-8), And a 07 Honda Accord, 29 mpg, that never needs repairs like American cars....
