I have concluded hydrogen is the future...

Of pasma cutting stainless steel. With my hypertherm xp45.
I have been trying to get F5 plasma cutting gas which is high purity nitrogen hydrogen mixture, to the tune of 95% nitrogen and 5% hydrogen.
It's expensive for what it is if I could get it. So I have come to the conclusion that I will have to make my own.
High purity nitrogen is easy to get, high purity hydrogen is easy to get, but is expensive.
F5 gas cuts stainless steel cleanly leaving a ready to weld edge.
I'm thinking this hyperspace pirate video is as an excellent starting point.

Floating a balloon, plasmas cutting stainless, pretty much the same thing.

What are you making out of the stainless steel cuttings?

Everything I can.
The main thing is I got about $3,000 worth of stainless steel from a bulk distributor picked up in person to make a trailer for a guy. Normally I cut a few pieces here and there and weld them together. But this will be a truely industrial scale build. Potentially exposing me to a bunch of hexavalent chromium.
If I can cut the stainless cleanly with out a bunch of grinding that will cut my hex chrome exposure by at least 90%.
