Turtle If you have decent bandwith and want the new Fedora 9

and want to download the i386 CD iso's please join the torrent at fedoraproject.org. I'm only on DSL and I'll be the fastest seed by far when I'm done. It's soooo sloooooow.

Fedora is a more desktop orientated version of Red Hat Linux; it is a NPO spun-off by Red Hat as well. All in all, good stuffs. Gentoo is my distro of choice but I am getting Fedora 9 just to see the improvements.

I like Gentoo, too. Both have their pros and cons.

Still happy with Ubuntu, even the latest version. Never tried Fedora, but did try Gentoo about 3 years ago. I though it esoteric at the time, but that was likely more the distro than the Gentoo itself.

Might be time to try Fedora. Is this ISO a LiveCD version?
