One for the brake regen button, one for the kill switch, and a third for . . . . . maybe a low-mounted gatlin gun off the front, or possibly a spike strip deployment button for tailgaters, I haven't decided yet!
Pretty cool stuff!

1. Internal kill switch for the injectors.
2. External kill switch for the HERF gun in the trunk.

We'll see how it works. The original design a few pages back had the switch much lower so that the switch was out of the way more (and I was using a different switch). I changed my mind and made it closer. Worst comes to worst, I reprint the knob with a new design. Prototyping is fun!
The design was based off this style:

No, no, no! You're not playing with a new toy, you're not coming up with whimsical ideas. In fact, you're not even enjoying yourself!
You're conducting a rigorous scientific process that only very serious adults can accomplish. Carry on.

Integrate me three buttons across the front with 16" of wire leads and I'm sold! Let me know what it would run and I'll get one from you

This thread is really heating up! Love the shift knob. I'll gladly buy your first!

3D printers are great, but what you really need is a big CNC mill to make male bucks for grille blocks, wheel skirts and kammbacks. I would scan the car, import a mesh into Alias, build some OEM-quality surfaces (because that is what I do), export to the mill and fiberglass some parts. In fact, if someone had the scanner and mill I'd be willing to work with them from a sculpting standpoint to make this stuff a reality.
I'm sure this will all be feasible and reasonable quality 3D scanners will become affordable within ten years.

I was thinking a servo-aimed paintball gun in the bumper would be a pretty fun addition. Of course, somebody has to 3D print the mounts and brackets!

I'm sure we can figure something out guys. It'll be a little bit though. I'm still getting used to the printer and how to design parts for it.
The shift knob is getting closer. I added a little tweak to the knob. I'm liking it.

Or you could print up an adapter to mount a mouse onto the shift lever. Lots of button choices available that way!
