improving factory efficiency

Hey all I'm Will from SE Michigan
(looks like my entry in the garage broke it?, lol sorry)
There used to be another fuel economy forum that I was a part of back maybe 2005-2007? This forum was motivated by that forums existence.
Anyway that forum (40mpg.org?) went away and I was bummed enough to not pursue online-fuel-economy conversation especially since I began managing a full blown Antique Automotive Restoration shop in 2008.
In 2009 I started my own IT business and in 2014 I left the auto industry to pursue IT full time.
Anyway I'm here to help others reach their FE goals and also learn which factors are screwing up my 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue's FE.

Do you know if the Olds' engine, powertrain, and engine management, and platform components were also shared with Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Holden, OPEL, and Pontiac?
If so, we might have a broader data base, than just Oldsmobile.

Hey yeah the engine was only shared with the Oldsmobile Aurora.
The powertrain combo was not shared with any other Vehicle.
Engine Management shared with Buick, Pontiac & Chevy.
Platform Components shared with Buick, Pontiac W-Body vehicles.
Thanks.
