Increased safety & performance for open air riders

Have a look at the handling performance of the 4MC. A leaning four-wheel bike that offers superior leaning suspension patents. The designer, Nick Shotter has been refining the engineering for the past 20 years. Yamaha offered developmental support & equipment prototype construction but did not 'buy' the IP for sale or license. In fact Yamaha tried to incorporate 4MC's ideas to it's own Tesseract prototype but was denied by the European Patent Office because it was too similiar to 4MC's patents. Yamaha is still pursuing it's own 4-wheel leaning models. Piaggio introduced it's own leaning three wheel model but the 4MC has a much lower CG and a much better suspension setup. The extra grip and stability is even superior than a conventional car because of dynamic CG control when it leans. The 4MC's CG always equally distribute maximum grip at all corners in all driving situations. Road camber & bumps are even handled so much better than typical car suspensions.

4MC - 4 Wheel Motorcycle Concept

Riders will appreciate this & don't miss the wet skid pan video tests.

As far as impact performance I think you're just as hosed.

Typical 'motorcycle snob'. Anything with more than two wheels are training wheels! (^_~)

There was a famous ad that said the best collision is the one you are able to steer & handle away from.

If you are the impactee there probably isn't much you can do in many cases.

If you are the impacter, sometimes, it can't be helped. Take it from one who spent 3 months in a recliner while bones knit.

You're right...when you talk about motorcycles. Cali freeways, have unfortunately seen aftermaths.
