He says in his yonger days his buddies would put a spark plug in the exhaust and hook it to a coil for tailgaters. All it took was shutting off the ignition while rolling in gear for about 5 seconds, then lighting up that plug. I bet plenty of people pooed on themselves after the report and flash of fire from the exhaust!
I have a manual choke on the '69 CST10, I won't even need to shut the motor off. Usually shutting the choke some (and making the truck smoke) is more than enough to make people back off. They don't like the smell of raw fuel.

After thinking about it, I think he's right about the CRX's carb shutting off or limiting fuel when engine braking. If you down shift to a high enough RPM, turn off the key, and keep it floored, it then starts to burble and back fire. Needless to say, my new favorite tail-gating treat.

There's even a control module called the "Anti-Afterburn Control".

"All I know about music is that not many people ever really hear it. [...] But the man who creates the music is hearing something else, is dealing with the roar rising from the void and imposing order on it as it hits the air. What is evoked in him, then, is of another order, more terrible because it has no words, and triumphant, too, for the same reason. And his triumph, when he triumphs, is ours." -Sonny's Blues

Well here's my results:

nothing.

The X-gauges I programmed didn't display any data. I'll have to try other numbers.
