I think we kind of know technique is the best FE aid, but education is the best method of getting the "ordinary" driver to get the best FE.

Seems about right.

I was hovering around the 39mpg mark when driving normally - though already with lots of DFCO.

I can get near 59 mpg when ecodriving a properly running Volvo S40 that's technically near-identical to my car.

NEDC (our EPA) value is inbetween at 47mpg.
