Congrats! Is that w the 302? Wonderful!

The best I ever did w a gas v8 was 24mpg in a '65 Ford Ltd 4dr HT w a 390, AT.

I drove it from Maryland to Oregon in the '70's at a steady 40mph on bald tires.

I borrowed the money from my cousin for gas and food, because I'd tired of hitchhiking, and wanted to drive home. I couldn't afford any tires, and the the car was geared low, the partial why of my slow speed.

I was ecomodding then, and didn't even really realize it!

Generally, drivers had some patience then. I don't remember anybody honking at me, or giving me the bird!

pretty cool, I bought my mom a Nissan Stanza for a temp car while her's was down last winter, with around 66k on it. when I was giving it a road trip test after purchase to make sure it wouldnt break down on her anytime soon, the odometer read at one point 66666.6
