ISO D15Z1 Engine - Civic VX

I am wanting to find a motor, hopefully in decent running condition, that I can use as practice for rebuilding and maintaining engines. I plan to refresh to factory-new or better and then drop it into my current VX so I can also refresh that one as well but without losing any drive time since it’s my main daily driver.

Willing to travel a bit to pick one up, say within 500 miles of Omaha, NE, further if it’s a deal too good to pass up.

Hi , I have a rebuilt d15z1 complete with head off. Everything is there except ecu. I currently have 1993 EX-S with vx transmission and d16z6/d15b1.10.4 to 1.vtec not hooked up. ASE tech since 1992.

Definitely a long ways away from me, lol probably 1000 miles. How much are you wanting to sell it for? If it’s a good enough deal I can drive out there and get it, but a 2000 mile round trip will cost like $120 in gas plus easily $100 in snacks and probably a hotel room.
