Its only a mirage

My wife and I realized a few months ago that gas was geting up to about $4/gallon so we sold the jeep...because we had no desire to spend $500+ a month to fill it up.

So we went for several months with just my wifes KIA Spectra.

We prayed alot about this decision to go down to 1 vehicle because it made things so much more difficult.

However my wife had a hard time geting around towards the end of her pregnancy so she had to quit her job..and stay home most of the time...so it ultimatly did work out for us.

My wifes grandmother is going into an assisted living apartment, and due to a number of health issues its no longer safe for her to drive. So my inlaws called a couple weeks ago and said that she wanted to give us her car.

Its a 1991 Mitsubishi Mirage.
1.5L and sadly a 3spd automatic.
Now get this...later this week I will roll over 65,000 miles (not a type-o)

I can't wait to work on this car.
In the past all I did was repairs and speed mods...now I can't wait to do work to improve the fuel economy of this car.

that thing is rated about the same as my wife's tc. if the tc can hit 35 with jus doig the speed limit the mirage should be able too.
