I've developed some high respect for the aptera's shape...

I've been working on this new steering system so I was creating an example body to demonstrate how it could work. So I was taking an approach of matching the form of the body to a tear drop and then tweaking it for a driver. And then it hit me, why the rear of the aptera is so high, it allows for the tear drop to be angled up giving more room for the legs of the driver in the front while maintaining head room without increasing frontal area.

Anyways I'll be posting something on the new steering system maybe today or tomorrow. It's completely different then anything out there and allows for no aerodynamic compromises aside from a small bit of wheel sticking out from the bottom of the vehicle.
