A joy ride

First decent weather break today, temps very close to 70 degrees. We rode out in the country to a flea market and had a pizza for lunch. The Sentra is pushing 7400 mile since I put it on the road back in August 14. Reliable to the point of boredom.

When we got home I jumped on the GZ250 and took a short ride (18 miles) around the east end of Williamsburg, down route 60 to Lee Hall and back up 143 to the house. The bike has covered 50 miles since Jan 19th, 149 since Dec 1, 2014, not even two gallons of fuel in over 2 months. I need to drain it again and put it in the wifes car, or ride it out tomorrow before the next weather front passes through.

When I got home from the bike ride, I fired up the 1965 Honda 50, known as a super cub every where else on the planet, and rode it around the neighborhood. 50 years old and still running just about the sameway it did when it was new and I had just got my first learners permit.

Amazing machine. I could survive with that alone.

regards
mech

Congrats on a good day of enjoying your autos! Unfortunately, up here we still have salt all over the road so my Monte Carlo stayed in it's spot to try and keep the underside from rusting any more. I did get to vacuum the Focus and address a gap in the engine bay that allows dirt to be flung from the tires into the engine bay. Not exactly how I like to enjoy my rides, but it was nice to get some sun and be outside for a while.
