Just bought a '95 Peugeot 306, anything I should know?

I bought a nice little peugeot 3 door hatch today and was wondering if the small car gurus had any advice for me. All of my previous vehicles have been trucks or SUVs mostly 4x4s so the world of small cars is sort of new to me. I plan on owning it for the duration of my stay in Australia (about 7 months). Not long term, but long enough for something to go wrong.

Ironically this little thing has a more powerful engine than my first truck.
