...also, for differential GPS to really be accurate, it takes a couple minutes and more than 3 satellites...such as when surveying property...horizontal X & Y distances are almost dead on, but VERTICAL distance takes quite awhile to "setttle" onto the correct value.
...so, if your "on-the-fly" GPS measurements have ANY changes in vertical distance, you can almost guarantee that the 'initial' numbers are NOT 100% correct.
