K-Sight....
I don't know if these have been posted here before, but for the horsepower AND mpg inclined, they're pretty cool!

It has been, and yes, it is pretty cool. Unfortunately, it is like a $20,000 swap.

Very cool cars and this has been done multiple times over..
The CRZ is a car I feel that should come with the option of a K block from the factory.. Its kinda weak in mpg and sport car area IMO... Love the look though.
$20k for a swap?? This day and age is so full of credit card racers I cant stand it.. The Kblocks can be expensive but there are WAY cheaper routes to go than buying already swap ready parts like starting with an Accord K24 engine.. Why not start with a larger displacement?? Can get those for $500 complete around my area btw.. The only reason I don't own a 300whp honda right now is that typically you have to get online and max out a credit card or two to get there..
Ill soon be building a turbo D16a6 CRX hf with a scat/vitara setup using parts from DSM's and ebay, junkyards and what not.. Bet I won't have $4k in the whole car with a paint job and could produce similar numbers as above or even better..

pretty easy to do engine swaps.
you can buy the engine/trans for 1000 bucks from carparts.com anywhere in the country.
You can buy the harness for 200 bucks pretty easy.
Motor mounts are like 700 bucks.
I'd put into your car for 5,000 bucks, but I bet someone else will do it cheaper.

All true if you are just trying to get it moving. Tampa Racing's K-Sight is from-the-factory clean, which is what the one in the video looks to be. There is another company that makes mounts that aren't a welded together mess, but they are for drag Insights so they might transmit a LOT of vibration. From what I have heard, the wiring is a nightmare, way beyond typical Honda swap fare. The Accord K24 is a DIY option, but it uses a block designed for bigger transmissions than Civics, more like V6 accord trannya, so any of the aforementioned parts are not an option. So yes, doable for a drag car, but for a car that you might want to drive often, $20,000.

I was pulling 12's in a ED sedan for under $1,000. Not even close to reliable if you were gonna beat on it, but it lasted 13 or so races, plus 25k miles, then I parted it out. The guy I sold the engine to was still running it on the street, last I knew.
No dyno chart, no time slips.
