Kaiser M725 Electric conversion?

I have an old 1968 Jeep Kaiser M725 and am wondering if I could convert it into a decent electric town vehicle Max range 40-45miles top speed 40mph.

Anyone ever heard of someone converting one of these or the M715?

Of course you can do it. It will not be an inexpensive project though.

You could do that with lead-acid batteries and a forklift motor. With lithium ion batteries and an polyphase-DC VFD motor you could get 90 miles or 80mph.

It's worth doing. There're three or four was to get there, would a mild hybrid diesel/electric be enough?
