Question Kubota D series bellhousing patterns

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and this is my first post so forgive me if this has been asked before.

I searched this subject and nothing came up. Can anyone tell me if the bellhousing pattern is the same on all of the Kubota D series engines or if any of them are the same. Specifically is the D1102-B the same pattern as the current production engines such as the D905, D1005, and the D1105? I have the plans including the adapter plate pattern published by San Diego State engineering dept. in 1981 converting an MG Midget to use a Kubota D1102-B diesel engine with a Toyota 5 speed transmission and Laycock overdrive. The car got 128 mpg. The MG was lightened as much as possible. Also, does the D750 engine used in the Urba Centurion share the same bellhousing pattern with any of the later D series engines?

Thanks for responding.

Hi DMM,

I can't answer your question for sure, but I can say that according the great Jack McCornack, all of the "05" series engines are the same: https :// kineticvehicles.com / MAX.html

Further, his bellhousing adapter connects that engine to a Toyota T50 series 5 speed.

Kubota normally follows generic SAE standard bell housing patterns

I know at least one who made a Kubota Geo Metro
