Kind of prefer this one over the Th!nk. I hope the price stays competitive by the time it becomes available. MSRP in Japan at present is 4mil yen ($41,000).
The price should be a bit better when the yen returns to normal exchange rates once the recession and credit markets ease up. That's kind of a long term proposition but it won't be in the US until at least 2011 so it works out fine. It should also be much cheaper because Mitu is working on ramping up their own battery production company to work on the economy of scale, whereas the batteries in all the cars thus far have been quite literally handbuilt.
