The screen is not water proof. Any water or condensation will make it fail. You'll want to put it behind a window.

Could you point me to the best 5v source to tie into? Switched if possible, if not then point me to a good 5v source anddd a switched ground? Thanks jellybean! Will have it up and running by this weekend.

Confused as to why you need to hook up to 5V? The input power to the MPGuino should be 12V that is on all the time.

(Input power has a diode drop then a regulator so input voltage needs to be 8V or greater.)

Or are you looking to power something else that is +5V fed from my MPGuino board?

Thanks for making this available JellyBeanDriver. I may be getting a 93 Civic Si and this will be perfect. 200 km round trip commute with gas prices going up... Need to confirm it's going to happen first before I pick one up.
