What are some good techniques that don't involve breaking the law by doing stuff such as speeding?

Aerodynamic mods.

Drive a 40-50 year old car restored with low-VOC paints. Or a bare-metal Land Rover converted to electro-magnetic drive.

I'm not sure what's up with Connected Signals. They have a presence on sites like Lindedin and Facebook but no presence in the WWW at large.

Do what ever you want juat don't hurt anyone else.

Aerodynamic mods are your best bet for highway driving besides driving slower. But even just slowing down can be dangerous in some places.

Why would you think speeding is a good eco technique? I'd say do anything but speeding. Go as slow as the slowest semis on the interstate or better yet take that side road and keep it under 45 mph.

Do you know of any good aero mods for drivers who care about aesthetic? I don't want anything that stands out like a sore thumb like boat tails.

Generally anything underneath avoids scrutiny. Some common modifications like stancing are beneficial. Subtle modifications add up.

Air dam and partial grille block come to mind.
There is the underbelly tray but you get most of that benefit with an air dam.

Yeah, about the only time illegal speeding equates to eco driving is when the engine is off, the transmission is in neutral, and the car is pulled downhill by gravity.

It works, but it's not advisable, IMHO.

Rarely happens though, more common is a quick burst of over-velocity to synchronise with traffic lights after a turn downtown.

Everyone should know how to EOC their car.
It should be part the driving test.
A few times a year every ear I hear or see a story of "the car stalled, went out of control and crashed". No the car didn't go out of control, thr person didn't know how to control the vehicle with out power assistance the car will still stop answer steer it just takes a lot more force to do it with manual power.
