Coincidentally, I tuft tested my 1986 model notchback car back in 1988. I can state with absolute certainty that it had rear airflow patterns utterly different to any current notchback car.

*When did Ferrari achieve Cd 0.25?
* If that Ferrari had been a BEV, with no cooling system, and a completely smooth belly, and with long diffuser, what would its drag coefficient have been?
* Are you going to tell me that a 2020 Porsche Taycan Turbo has any lower drag today than that Ferrari would have had back then, given the conditions I've specified?
* I'm completely nonplussed when people get all excited about how 'low drag' cars are today.
* 'utterly different' cannot be quantified. It's not actionable information.
* BMW and Mercedes-Benz both have Cd 0.22 notchbacks today.
* General Motors had a Cd 0.14 notchback electric car in 1993.
* Give me a 2020 BMW or M-B with Cd 0.14 and you've got my attention.
