This was a mock-up to establish the dimensions. I lost the workspace.

It would have been very interesting on the road.

Addition: I did some work on an aerodynamic gravity racer, that had a similar framework. I used strips of ply that were clamped in place and then glued together to form laminations. It meant the curves stayed in place even when everything was unclamped. The frame work was similar to what you have here, and I was going to cover it in stretch fabric. But the project never went ahead. (But I still have the laminated frame hanging on the wall of my workshop. Maybe one day.)
