light weight rims and narrow tires

Hi John, I realise its an old thread, but did you find an answer to the narrow wheel/ tyre requirement? I am looking for the same thing for my Punto multijet 1.3 diesel. Cheers, Nigel

You'll likely find narrower than stock wheels/ tyres are illegal in the UK

The lightest way to go on Fiat's is base spec steelies and smooth wheel covers. Switching from factory 16" alloys to 14" steels gained my 500 well over 4mpg (also made it more fun to drive so I've been driving it harder).
