limitless clean water from condensing ocean air
Supposedly this would result in significantly cheaper water than current systems, too:

NASA helped design a new airplane wing design
The truss-braced wing is supposed to be 10% more efficient and some turboprop is supposed to be even more efficient, so finally, some billionaires will become even more billionairy!

The airline industry is a cutthroat business and many airlines endure long periods of loss, assuming they don't go under. Try catching a Pan Am flight.
Flying is no longer for the ultra wealthy, but for the average slob, because prices are so low. I see people who haven't showered in weeks in their sweats and Crocs flying with their mangy mutt. Saving fuel is is part of what opened up access.

What's the point? No matter where you go, there you are.

Had I been living on the coastline, or near a river, probably I would be re-using that residual water which air conditioners take out of the room. On a sidenote, makes me wonder if the salt mist being turned into clean water could also provide cheap salt for barbecues or for drying fish.

LOL nope
The point is, if it could be had even cheaper, why not? Plus if I were living in a coastal city, I would go fishing quite often, so why not trying to dry fish to turn it into something similar to Cod, which is quite expensive?
