Lit Motors C-1 enclosed electric motorcycle. (Gyroscopically stabilized)
Found these Videos showing dramatic improvement over the previous prototype. Though still no video of high speed driving.

Very interesting and pretty cool.
I wonder how much power those gyros consume...

The Arcimoto SRK makes this vehicle obsolete. The Lit is way too complicated with zero benefits.

If you are not going to hold up a motorcycle at a stop with your feet, the best way is a third wheel.

Gyroscopic devices are interesting in theory, but don't seem so much that practical or reliable.

My favorite setup for a self-balancing 2 wheel vehicle is side landing gear like on the X-Tracer that competed for the mileage X-Prize. Could probably even add a manual deployment lever in case something happens to the power.

Sounds nice, but I'd still probably rather go on 3 wheels. Look at this one:

A cousin of mine who's a metal fabricator did the conversion using a narrowed Chevette rear-end.

Would be cool if they used the gyro's as flywheels/generators power source ![Wink](/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
