a local rolling resistance ad

I compare my car to a prius for tires..(it is in the specs) .and found this ad on my local craigslist. It is beyond ecomod chats now, this is great. I may purchase, as my car is awd.

Set of four Bridgestone Potenza G019 Grid size P185 65R15. Used for about 9 months.

Bridgestone web site for this tire: Bridgestone Potenza G019 Grid

We bought the G019s to replace the worn out OEM tires on our Prius. The OEM tires were terrible in wet conditions and we needed something that would provide better traction. While these Bridgestone G019s provided GREAT traction, we were not aware of the decrease in gas mileage they would cause on a Prius. We went from an average of about 55 mpg to about 44 mpg. I have since learned that the Prius is sensitive to the rolling resistance of it's tires. The G019s were designed for excellent traction but not for low rolling resistance. I did some calculations and determined that we can actually save money by replacing these tires with low rolling resistance tires so we are selling the gently used G019s. We use winter tires mounted on their own rims during the winter months so these G019s were used only for about 9 months of non-winter driving.
