Hopping onboard

Been treading around the hypermiling sites for awhile.
A member of CleanMPG, so thought I'd come over for more info.

Trying to improve mileage in my new 09 Rolla.
Had a Volvo 850 which experienced death by transmission last November. Decided I didn't want to put the money into it when it only got about 19 mpg on mid-grade.

Had been trying to hypermile some since last summer. Figured I've got a better car for it now.

Well, I suggest taking a look at our 65+ Vehicle modifications for better fuel economy list to get some ideas of what you'd like to do. This will all be tailored according to your vehicle and how you drive. If you're a highway driver, aeromods are great. If you have short trips, a block heater will be your savior, even in summer!

With that username, I was sure you were going to tell us you were a Scion driver who really liked to overinflate the tires.

Welcome to the forum.

Sorry, Metro.
Old name I took on many years ago when I was looking for a cool name as I got into online gaming.
Comes from one of the first, of not first, handheld PDA makers. Along the way I've owned 3 of them, and even still use one daily at work.
