Help with Science Fair Paper

Hi, I'm currently in the process of writing my research paper for my science fair project(The Aerofocus) and I had a few questions

Who is the aero template attributed to? or where does it come from?

What is the average MPG percentage drop for every 10 degree drop in temperature?

I'm sure I'll have more questions and I'll post them in this thread as I go along.

But he based it off others' research. He mentions sources for the more extreme angles (and discrepencies between 22* and 23* in research) in a few threads but I'm not sure about the rest. You might try PM'ing him for a direct response.

science-fair good stuff HydroJim . check out R. B. Fuller Omin-directional Transport 1920s the design looks like the aero template with a twist, and (RBF) designed that before wind tunnels. what a vision he had.

Something I stumbled upon :

https://autofrei.wordpress.com/2012/...trations-pt-9/

A very straightforward way to conceptualize aerodynamic drag and the fundamentals of streamlining.

An image is worth a thousand words..so they say.

Are you doing a display as well? It would be neat to run a streamlining template video on loop, maybe switching between an SUV and Honda Insight or Prius.

Maybe this will help... I lifted it from another thread awhile back.

The gist of my project will be about how building lightweight and aerodynamic vehicles is the key to efficiency instead of many of the technologies that automakers are using today. My main hope is to help spread the word and hopefully at least open up a few people's minds. As you know, a lot of people think that the fuel efficiency vehicles currently get is as good as it gets. I'm there to tell them otherwise. There are a lot of big organizations there, so maybe I'll inspire them. There are even internship opportunities if they like you.
