I just put the Pirellis on the car about 2 weeks ago. So far they are doing great. I haven't seen a huge impact in FE like I did last year.

I've had a set Michelin Alpin A4 installed last week.
Far better than the preceding shabby A3 version for road holding.
They seem to be doing fairly well regarding FE, I'm getting about the same winter-FE as on the last tank with the Energy Savers
Coasting distances are just about as good too.

The A4s are fitted on much lighter wheels, and I've found a few more places to coast.
Still need to check their pressure - I asked to put in 3 bar (43.5 psi), but they feel softer than that.
