New guy from Pennsyltucky

Just picked up my first real Metro had a 96 LSi... 4cylinder with the auto (yuck!)

then this happened:

so for a little while i was driving my backup/toy 96 Cherokee 4.0L 3.5" + 31" M/T not at all good on mpg LOL:

and finally last weekend went to pick up said real metro. 1999 Chevy Metro Base G10 with the 4.39 5-speed. what a doll this thing is, so much fun to drive.

anyways just wanted to drop a hello and start my modding, going to take it easy and see where i end up with an all stock metro. looking forward to chatting with all of you and getting some hardcore knowledge with my fresh acquisition.

-Ian

Does it bother you as much as it bothers me about how they spell the character name "Pennsatucky" on on the Netflix show Orange is the new Black?

The Cherokee looks nice too, and may have some room for improvements mileage-wise...

Yeah like selling it for 2 metros and eco mods for all of them lol.

In all fairness considering I run 34 psi on mud tires with 3.55 gears it getting around 15 or 16 MPG isn't terrible. And tgw fact it's a rolling brick lol. Thanks for the compliments too!

super clean above...its a good 10 foot car, has some rust underneath but i bought it with 100,929 original miles! everything is impeccable on this machine and it was a southern transplant car about 5 years prior to me getting it. someone LOVED this car a ton. just like i do

But sure there's a lot of room for improvements which could not prejudice its off-road ability, such as engine tuning (or even an engine swap) or weight reduction. In spite of featuring an unibody layout which doesn't leave so much room for extensive body mods on the cheap, I'm sure you may find many spots to take a few pounds away
