4" of fiberglass is R13, but studs are thermal bridges?
This says that a 4" stud is R4.38: ColoradoENERGY.org - R-Value Table

Matt is still working on his house!
I wondered if he ever finished. I looked and not only is he still working on this house after 21 months, much of it is still bare to the studs.
He has released 36 videos about this project, with over 8.5 million views.
Is the monetization paying for the neverending project?
Endless people have said that he is smart for doing this, but Kevin showed how to remodel it for $85,000 in 6 weeks and then he would have rented it out a year and 7.5 months ago.
Then he could have bought an empty lot or a house in worse shape and built the house that he wanted from scratch.

It's a internet video, so everything about it is suspect including the process costs and financing.
Of course he's monetizing it

Home RenoVision DIY bought a 1980s house to remodel.
It's actually a church house, but they are converting it into a residential property. He bought it for $240,000 and expects it to be worth a million in 3 years.
I look forward to seeing if Matt Risinger finishes within that timeline--if Jeff doesn't finish before Matt, starting 2 years later:
They repainted the brick. I watched this first and didn't have any idea why he was working on a church!
