I relied on Al, here at Copy-Pro, to do the scans. He's got a $22,000 Canon color laser copier he uses, from which he could put the files on disc or thumb drive for me. I was happy to pay a buck / image for all the scans and keystrokes it took to get them into Photo-Bucket.
I would never have imagined that seven venture-capitalists would eventually buy the company, then hold the contents for ransom. Not a condition under the original agreement. In my world, all seven would be behind bars, along with their attorneys.
