This concept is what the volt should have been. The volt uses a much larger than neccessary engine.

A smaller, lighter and more efficient engine would be really desirable for the Volt. Even if the engine works mostly as in a stationary genset, since it's not in a stationary application the power-to-weight ratio has a more important role...
