Was the tesla interior wrecked because of use or, as in my case, too distasteful. Cannot deal with the laptop screen in my face demanding attention while driving.

From use, in this case.

I haven't made up my mind whether I like that giant center monitor or not. Now, getting rid of the turn signal stalks is ridiculous. I definitely draw the line before that.

It's taken an embarrassingly long time but I've finally leveled up hypermiling in the Bolt. The 2 tricks are:

- keep it out of one-pedal mode. It doesn't let you glide easily
- use the steering wheel paddle to brake. This took me from 4.8 to 5.4 mi/kWh

How did you control for the variables?

Things are warming up here such that an efficiency gain like that would be entirely attributable to warmer temperatures.

Both numbers are very impressive though.

That's fair but I've never hit over 5.0 before in 2 years of driving

I had to do some surgery on my Comma AI self-driving system to repair an internal fuse. Fun times. It's given me 19,000 low stress miles prior to this.

And the GoSun solar roof charger is shipping! I'm looking for a job that's closer to home so it will cover 100% of my mileage.
