Road trip!
Since I don't have a working odometer, let alone an instantaneous mileage readout, it's Google Maps and gas station receipts. Now these are city-center to city-center so they're within 1-2%.
Northern leg (straight up I-5): 288 miles on 6.195 gallons of #2 diesel = 46mpg
Southern leg (Hwy 99 south of Tigard): 279.8 miles on 6.34 gallons = 44mpg

With the new $8 (half-restored) roof rack. The last time I was there, if you showed your car breakfast was free. This time nobody there could remember when it was that way.

The only other car I found interesting was a solar electric Fiero.
