Mitka Trike prototype

Mitka Trike | Strange Vehicles

I ran across this item today, thought it deserved some more exposure.

The high seating position is ridiculous in my opinion. And with the windshield it is UGLY. They didn't seem to have any concept of aerodynamics.

At least it was listed under "strange vehicles" and not "really cool looking vehicles that make aerodynamic sense."

...granted. It just seems that if you're going to make an electric-assisted vehicle, you'd want to try to maximize the electric assist... and if you want to sell anything, you should reduce the ridicule

I agree 100%. And the same could apply to the auto industry as well. Why not make something as efficient as possible? Same goes for oversized, overweight cars too! Hopefully we are on our way to "energy independence." A phrase I've heard every day for the past 20 years!

I like it. The "high" seating position makes sense, if that's the way you prefer to sit when you're pedalling. And at 15 mph, aerodynamics- whoop de doo.
