Mods from 5/30/15 on 2009 Toyota Yaris HB

This morning I finished two small Mods.
Added a TRD rear sway bar. Much lighter then I expected for a 21MM thick OEM style part. Handling improvement was immediate. Lane changes are much crisper and controlled at 65 MPH.

I was very disappointed at the handling after I raised the racing suspension avoid speed bump scrap. But the anti sway bar cleaned up the sloppy rear tracking considerably.

I replaced the OEM crank shaft pulley (50 ounces) with a lightweight model (11.8 ounces) from MicroImage. I'm not expecting big MPG gains from either although the pulley is improving Freeway onramp acceleration in 4th gear . The pulley is also a longer term field test for a fall 2015 engine build out.
