Again, we are wanting to focus on AC components.

But, the reasons people use deep-discharge batteries is for the sake of capacity and rechargeablity. If, for instance, your batteries only hold enough juice for the job at half their rated capacity, they are damaged by going further flat than that. Not so with Firefly batteries as they do not experience the same chemical damage.

Speed controllers are the same, Altrax make speed controllers that are for the most part used in golf carts, even their largest speed controller is popular in off road and souped up golf carts, it's also the same speed controller that I used in my electric car because it was cheap and did the job, but if my car was any bigger it wouldn't have been enough, but they make a ton of these speed controllers because every golf cart shop stocks them.
