Which MPG reader for a '99 Polo ?

Hi !
I'm a new user from France and proud owner of a '99 Polo (6n1 model).
I'm trying to get into hypermiling but can't find any reader working... I've tested 2 bluetooth ELM27 dongles with torque but none of them work on that car. It seems to be using VAG connexion... Is there any dongle compatible ? That would be great I'm getting around 5.9 l/100 but i'm sure I can do more.
