Hm... Issue #2, with the unwanted display pausing with cancelling out of "RESET TRIP" or "REFILL TANK", is very likely a bug in my code, not the app.

I re-examined your code and realized that it should only change output states if the app transmits an "MM", not necesarly just an "M". Changed my code to do this too, and the issue went away.

Sorry about that

I have a further update in production.

This unit now logs fuel fills onto a micro SD card. Records when a fill or reset is done to a progressive text file that can be viewed on the mpguino itself.

I have included a flat ICSP header on the unit for easy upload if anyone has a go at bashing their own code. The stand alone nature of the unit requires an Arduino to be used as a programmer.

I also made the screen connection back to a ribbon cable for cheaper upgrades in the future or replacements (still haven't needed any yet however)

The user screens are now fully selectable with 5 pages for any configuration people may desire.

All of this can be expanded upon. 2 SD units remain unspoken for currently. Adding the SD card hardware and ribbon cable messing around only adds around $7AUD to the cost of the unit.

Latest update has a feature that saves the config each time it's edited to the SD card and cycles the config saves through 3 backups incase someone wants to backtrack to an older setup.

It also can then load the setup from SD.

A few bug fixes, and much much better refueling process for keeping on top of accuracy.

v32 of the software uploaded to my website.

Lots of units in stock now also

2 bugs found unfortunately during my 2600km drive across Australia.

When cancelling out from a full tank reset it deletes any top-up fuel added.
And when fuel remaining goes below 0 it would roll over to something huge :P

Fixed in version 34.

Other than that, she performed perfectly, 4-5 hours at a time. SD card logging was amazing for reviewing the trip.

My Y62 patrol towing a 3.5t car trailer used 21.6L/100kms travelling at 105km/h. I am extremely happy with that for the weight and size of the vehicle, considering a 2023 MUX towing 2t of furniture used 19L/100kms.
