MPGUINO Install assistance 94 Metro XFI

Maybe this is really obvious and I am just tired so I am missing it but I got my MPGUINO today. it came with NO instructions.

I know the 4 "pins" are vss injector and power x2

which is which?

Where can I access the injector input on a 94 metro ? (right at the injector?)

Where can I access the VSS ? ECU? which wire?

are there any cases available for these? sure I can make my own but if I can buy a nice one for a few bucks why not :-) hehe

I found schematics and pulse values and all kins of stuff but not one word on the "core basics" ie what 4 wires and where they go and what the pins on the unit are.

thanks!

Not sure, I know there's a wiki for it. By the way, if you need connectors to hook up to your injectors, let me know. I have the male and female connectors so you can hook up an adapter to read the injector signal.

got it installed got it working LOVE IT works great but I have some issues.

the primary is SPEED is very very unreliable over 50mph (sometimes under 50mph too but not as long or as often)

but definitely over 50mph its ALL OVER the place sometimes as high as 82 (when I am doing 55 as low as 0 or 1 usually around 10-20mph over.

its only for "spurts" since the mileage is not off much.

what can I do about this? I head someone say something about this being "bounce" in the VSS reeds???

something about switching to a hall effect sensor for more reliable input. suggestions? how would I do this where would I get it? etc.. etc..

I have to "tune" my guino by speed since my odometer is NOT accurate but to tune by GPS I need a nice steady input. I got it close. within .5mph of true speed I think :-)
