I just caught something in that post I hadn't thought about before. There is an assumption that driving a car above, say 35 mph, on a twisty road isn't liekly to happen.
My friend, I'd like you to come to Arkansas and drive highway 7. There are more hairpins on that road than in your granny's hair styling kit. And believe me, the locals don't slow down much on that road. I often can get up to 55-60 mph, which I suspect would bring aerodynamics into the realm of usefullness. The only thing that goes slow on that road is anything heavy and has more than 2 pairs of axles.
