It means I stop bleeding $100 a month in depreciation, which pays for the gas I use monthly. All told about $1400 a year in my pocket. My 93 year old father rode in the Sentra today and liked it, even with 44 lbs in the tires. New thermostat should get me to 40 MPG, looking good so far.

Sale fell through, it has not had one mile put on it in a month. Added a bunch of pictures and got a picture of it 3 years ago when they brought it back from the auction, took six months to finsih it. No used or aftermarket parts available on a 10 month old car. The shop had to give Ford the old parts before Ford would sell them new ones.

ALL REPLACEMENT PARTS WERE FORD OE.

The gent that backed out of the deal yesterday with an email called me today and came over to look at the car. Pretty sure he will buy it, waiting for him to get his funds in order at the credit union. He is supposed to call me later today.

We'll see.

You may have to drop your price to 6500. That is the common upper limit for an unsecured loan amount most banks offer.

Nah, won't sell it for that. He is going to have the money in the morning. 95% sure the deal will be completed before lunch Saturday. He keeps a car 20 years so he should be 83 when he gets rid of the Fiesta, assuming he lives that long with medical issues.

Cost me $100 a month in depreciation. The wifes Sorento, if you believe the county tax assesment is worth 13.5k, over 10k in depreciation in 3 years and 32k miles. That's what I paid for the Fiesta even if I junked it at 30k miles instead of selling it for $7495. Wifes griping about telling me I sold it too cheap. I can't post what my response to that was without breaking forum rules.
