my car already has a stock air dam !

hi

i only just noticed today that my car already has a stock air dam !

its made of rubber and is fixed onto the bumper and extends vertically down by about 1 inch. its not below the level of the lowest parts of the car though. you can just about fit a curb underneath it. should i extend it ?

just noticed it today while i was taking my wing mirror and areal off

pictures tomorrow when its day light again.

I extended the airdam on the Grand Caravan. I had replaced the air dam because it had been ripped off by parking blocks. I attached a 4 1/2 inch rubber kickboard. I'm not sure the extended dam improved the aerodynamics, but it protects the bumper from parking blocks by folding back over them.
