As some of you predicted I did see an increase in overall engine temperature due to the total block of the upper and lower grilles. So, I cut a hole in the center of the lower grille block and lowered the top edge of the upper grille block to allow small amounts of air to still travel into each. I'll post pics later if I can, hopefully this will return things to normal.

You should remove material from the bottom of a block vs the top, IMO. If you make a cut at the top, that disturbs all the airflow that goes upward over the block. If you make a hole at the bottom, air will go into it, and the rest of the airflow up over the body will be smooth.

MY first aero mod...

http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...html#post73056

There is the post where my pics are of my first aeromod. I used the 1/16 Lexan (very flexible!), and left it clear for the bumper block - can't hardly see it - and painted the air dam extensions to match.

I bought the 48 inch by 8 inch piece from this store on eBay and had around 20 bucks in all of that. They aren't selling that small of a piece any more. Maybe Home Depot or Lowe's does?
