Trying to lean a high compression gasoline engine, the application and the fuel just don't match up well.

Why would you want a fuel wasting diesel type exhaust scrubber. It would just be erasing most if not all of the fuel saving the contraption might get over a normal emgine.
Do you know how the diesel exhaust scrubbers work?
