My new personal best

On my way home from work today I was able to pull 59.1mpg over ~30miles. I already took a path that would lend itself to long glides but today I added the use of EOC and my cheapo grille block. Before this the best I had been able to pull on the same course was 46.8.

The best I have ever gotten on a similar length trip was 54mpg using EOC.

I think I could have been well over 60mpg had I not had to deal with a school bus and an accident with lots of rubberneckers. Maybe tomorrow!

Well done! Gotta love 10% better than you're previous best. Enjoy these early days of Ecomodding--they'll real fun when you're breaking your own records all the time. I remember the first time I broke 30 mpg I was overjoyed. These days, if I get 30 mpg I'm pretty down on myself.
