On my way to 40+ MPG in my suzuki!

So i've a 2008 suzuki sx4 sedan, base MPG is 22/30. Since reading this site, I've increased tire PSI to 50LBS and have driven very conservatively as well as EOC, and just generally paying more attention to lights/stop signs etc.

Also, not sure if it makes a difference, but some have suggested taking the pass. mirror off, and being my car is still new, i figured id just fold it in, not sure how much of a difference it has made, but yesterday i drove 145 miles from my house to work, then to get my son and back home.

Results? 44.2MPG. WOW. I never thought I'd hit THAT high in this car, but needless to say I'm stoked. The sx4 is nearly 2800LBS with only a 143HP motor and a 5spd gearbox, so its a lot of weight to move around.

I'm going to try a grill block/fog light shield etc, and whatever else i can come up with.

There could be an upper grill block in the future? You should experiment with folding mirrors...
